Gum Litter Roadshow (2025)
Dundalk Tidy Towns was pleased to support the Gum Litter Taskforce Roadshow, which took place on 29th July 2026 in Market Square. The event, led by Louth County Council's Community Section, aimed to raise awareness about the simple but powerful message: Bin That Gum.
Despite a busy morning, the team found time for fun – including a ball toss game that drew in passers-by, including Cathaoirleach Cllr Seán Kelly. We were delighted to be joined by service users from the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) and also enjoyed great chats with Louth Disability Cycling.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more, play a game, and pledge to keep Dundalk's streets gum‑free. Small actions make a big difference – remember to always bin your gum! ♻️
