The Historical Dundalk Project began in 2023 as a plan to renew old heritage signs and has since grown into a full celebration of the town's past – with refreshed QR-enabled signs (2024), a new self-guided walking map (2025), and a special 2026 calendar marking Dundalk Tidy Towns' 20th anniversary. From Victorian architecture to ancient legends, discover Dundalk's stories at your fingertips.

DTT installed 20 interpretive panels around Dundalk in 2016. The panels include a photo of the area in times past with information on the area. The signs were replaced in 2023. We have included a picture of how the panels look now and the new future design.
